It is difficult not to decorate your home, to make it special and inviting for the last week of the year. A Christmas tree is maybe to much for your home, but there are a lot of other options to give it your special touch even when the classical Christmas decoration is not your thing. We should at least have some greenery in the house. I must say that those old fashioned Christmas balls have a certain charm, I'm always happy to arrive at my parents place and see the same decorations which were already used by my grandmother. Yes, it is time to be nostalgic.

Lets leave the hectic of the city behind us and get to a relaxing place, just in time to decorate. Keep the colors simple: white, green, and a touch of wood. Add red to make it more traditional. Natural materials, imperfection will give all the charm we need. The candles which we will put all around the house will bring light and a touch of warmth in this dark period of the year.
