Tweed fabrics will make us think of English country side houses with their rustic feel. Combine them with a colorful plaid to be prepared for the cold winter months. Using a heavy wool tweed for a sofa can be very sophisticated, but depending on where you live that wool fabric on a sofa can be to warm during the summer months. Something to reflect on before deciding on this option. I’ve seen beautiful tweed effects also in heavy linen, this will be a better option, you can add wool throws for the colder months.
