Summer comes to an end and we feel that autumn will arrive soon, the sun goes down earlier. The mornings and evenings are getting cooler. Autumn is the season of memories, as souvenirs of a beautiful summer.

The early days in autumn can still be warm, but is a different warmth than in summer. It feels as a comforting blanket around our shoulders. The light is still filled with a warm summer glow. It brings us memories from our travels and we can still enjoy being outdoors.

This season is perfect for those warm tones, shades of terracotta. As we would feel the glow of summer on our skin after a day on the beach. A sunny harmony that invites you stay more indoors. Terracotta tones work well through out the whole house. It could be an unexpected but perfect choice for the kitchen. Not something you see around a lot. Now that we will spend again more time indoors it can be the moment to try out new recipes. Natural materials are the perfect choice to bring out the most of this color harmony. This color harmony can be quite feminine and works well in modern contemporary settings or a bohemian style.

Nature provides us all the color harmonies we need. When we look around, whatever season we are in, we see perfect combinations. Indian summer is autumn at its best, It shows all beauty before winter arrives and days will be grey and dark.
