There we go..... my first steps in the world of blogging.

10 years ago I arrived in Romania to design a kids' collection, about 9 years ago I made the step from the fashion world into the interior design world.  I didn't regret one moment to have made this switch in my career. Now I'm doing my first steps in the world of blogging.

My first interior design project, I'll tell you the story behind it soon on my blog.

When, a little bit more than 2 years ago, Elis and Madalina of Designist asked me to do some workshops, 1 or 2 or maybe a bit more, I was like: me ?! Talking in front of 15 to 20 people ? NO..... just the idea. But than I gave it a second thought and I said yes, why not give it a try. You can imagine my first workshop, nervous, but I did it, I talked in front of 18 people. The workshop was all about "Colour in Interior". We had a great time, I've seen some great works., and I loved it.

The workshops, in the mean time, became an evening course. Every time when I start a new course with enthusiastic people, ready to learn more about interior design I'm excited because I know that 10 weeks later I will see such a progress in the works they do and am very happy to hear them telling me that I inspired them to do a next step in their career or start their own collection, open a shop...... My main goal is to open their eyes, not just to create a nice interior, but to give the works they make some depth and this you can only do when you look further than the things you know already. Is a 10 week of looking for unusual things, to watch movies, work with images, colours.

I have been thinking of starting a blog since quite some time, to much other things to do, you know always enough excuses..... maybe afraid just to start, as I don't see writing as one of my talents, but little by little I'll make progress. The idea of my blog is to share with you my stories about my projects, to give you tips in decorating your house, to share new things I found on fairs, during travels. Or to show you how a movie, an exhibition, a book can inspire you to create your interior. Or maybe one day you just get some images of things which catched my eyes in the past week. Working on the blog will be as I work with my students: simply by being me, sharing the things I know or like.

Hope you will enjoy my blog posts as much as I will enjoy writing them.
