End of July is approaching quickly, we are already mid of summer. At home there is no better place to relax than on the patio. The perfect place to have a drink, enjoy dinner with friends or a calm afternoon with a book.

An open summer kitchen is a dream for long summer days. It is a perfect way to enjoy most of the days outdoors for people living in a country where summer takes longer than just July and August . Preparing a pizza in the wood oven, roast a chicken or bake some bread. It are the small things in life which brings us most joy. We don’t need a lot, sunny weather gives a lot of energy. Summer is the time to take in as much as possible vitamines before the colder months arrive.

Natural materials, simple shapes, neutral colors will be perfect for the minimalist at heart. A pocket-placemat can be a very practical solution to bring the things from the kitchen to the patio. When we travel we come home in a different mood, we sometimes want to start redecorating our home because we discovered a new style in which we felt very well. And yes, summer wouldn’t be summer if we wouldn’t spend at least a weekend at the sea side. Classical nautical stripes, naturel wood and a bright color splash. It is an evergreen, so no worries if you will spend more money when buying your outdoor furniture. Natural wood in combination with a classical nautical style are the perfect base, you can each change the look buy adding some different color touches, it will fir wiht a lot of bright colors. Even some exotic print will fit.
