Spring weather is here. The sky is a clear blue, and the spring flowers add bright color to the local market. Seeing how much this improves our mood, it would be nice to bring more flowers into our interiors as well.
Flowers have an immediate impact on happiness. They have a long-term positive effect on moods, making people feeling less depressed and anxious. So a good reason to add flowers or floral designs to your interior.

And the easiest way is to add a beautiful bouquet of flowers, especially in spring when every couple of weeks new varieties appear on the market. To me it brings so much joy and brightens the whole room. Or even a few branches in full bloom, or wildflowers you pick along the roadside during a walk. You don’t need a large and expensive flower arrangement; even a single flower in a small vase can make such a difference in your home.

Or you can go extreme and decorate your facade so spring seems to be with you all year round. It will surely bring a smile to the face of every passerby. Even in winter, when the streets are covered with snow, this house will radiate warmth and joy. That is the simple and enduring effect of flowers.

Imagine getting up in the morning and discovering those beautiful floral tiles on the wall in your shower. Let’s agree: most bathrooms all look the same these days, washed in beige tones, we need something fresh and unexpected. And those tiles are different, they are not your usual bathroom tile, they bring personality to the space.
And there is no need to cover all the walls of your room with wallpaper. Somewhere on an unexpected place it will even have more impact. In case you want to add some wallpaper to a room, go for all walls to create a cohesive look. There was a time that the trend favoured a single accent wall with wallpaper. That trend has faded, today the recommandation is to decorate the entire room with the same motif.

Ok, we are not all that bold, and the are other, subtler ways to bring floral designs in our interiors. A discreet embroidery on the table linen and a few nice hand-painted serving plates can make every dinner feel special. This approach can even work well in a more minimalistic space.
outdoor rug Uniqlo Anniversary Marimekko
And what about adding a floral rug outside? It might seem to much, since the garden will soon be filled with flowers. Still. it could look amazing, very modern and colorful. There are more and more rug producers offering outdoor rugs these days. We have more free time and want to enjoy the outdoors in the same style as we have inside of our home.
