Winter Whites

Foggy weather, grey clouds, first snow, yes it is winter. White is often seen as the color for summer, to feel refreshed. White can be heart warming in winter and is the perfect color for a cozy home.

White is the color for fresh starts, it clears our mind. Specially in a year as the one we almost finish, coziness is high on our wish list. White in combination with grey tones and a bleached wood is the perfect background for a Scandinavian inspired interior. It brings in a crisp look. Simple branches, natural or painted in white, will invite you to start brining in the Christmas mood.

An all white interior to obtain a very quite environment, it just radiates tranquility. Paint that old wood floor white, play with different with tones to bring it to life. You know there are more than five hundreds of white tones? You can divide them in warm and cold white tones. Warm white tones will have a yellow or red undertone, the colder whites will have a bleu undertone. Add bleached wood or some green leaves to add a warm and natural touch.
