Autumn is inviting us to spend more time with ourselves, to reflect on what the year has taught us and what we dream of for the coming months. As much as our lives need a bit of action, those muted colors need a contrast. Black will do the job perfectly and bring character to your interior.

We are ready to show our feminine side in those rooms. Use those pastels in contrast with a darker color, brown will be a great match. A wallpaper with a masculine print will bring balance to this, if not to, feminine room. Or a modern armchair to create a room that feels very trendy.

Pillows and blankets in pastel colors are the perfect accessories to make your guest room feel welcoming for your friends. Pastel colors in combination with wool to comfort you through the cold winter evenings. Specially a touch of this is what we will need this year, even more than other years seen we are much more just by ourselves and miss the human interaction.

You can never go wrong with pastel colors for the nursery. Specially those grayish pastel colors will bring more style to this room and are less predictable than the traditional soft pink and light blue. They add something poetic and nostalgic to the room. You can also keep those colors till they will be in their teens, so no need to change every two or three years the design of their room.
